Missy was an incredible host, very responsive and so helpful with anything I requested. The home was lovely and comfortable, exactly as described/pictured in this photos, right across from a cute park that was great for walking, and very close to anything you might need. Would definitely stay here again!

Missy is very responsive in communication. The shower is hot with food water pressure. Mattresses a. It soft for our preference. Neighborhood was quiet and close to the Roanoke Star hike. The bedrooms are smaller than expected. The primary bedroom has very little space for luggage and the closet is full of personal belongings. This listing suited our needs for our visit to Roanoke because we had scheduled events and activities during most of the waking hours. It would not be a home where I would “hang out”. Lots of personal items and it feels a bit crowded inside. Nice outdoor space but we did not have an opportunity to use it.

Missy’s Relaxing Roanoke Retreat is definitely worth the stay for the price. Her communication was superb from start to finish as she immediately messaged & called upon booking & gave very clear instructions for entry upon arrival. This charming 1940’s home is easy to find & minutes from hiking, parks, exploration & downtown. The front porch is welcoming, & there’s ample driveway parking. We felt very safe and secure. The home maintains its original oak wood floors & smells clean & fresh. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, mugs, cookware & utensils which is important to us since we cook while traveling. There’s a variety of coffee, teas & snacks for guests which is such a thoughtful gesture (& cost saver). The beds were super comfortable with clean linens, & Missy ensured the bathroom had ample fresh clean towels & toiletries. Overall, Missy’s Retreat is warm, inviting & cozy. It’s fully deserving of 5 stars.
