Staying here felt like staying with an aunt. Sharon is so nice and accommodating while giving you your space and privacy. I would definitely consider saying here again if doing Trinidad carnival solo. Very close to town and convenient.

I stayed here for carnival and Sharon made me feel at home. I loved everything about this location. The area was clean and I felt safe. The host was great. I will be back soon!

The home wasn’t what we expected. Although it was a private room, the host was there with family and guests and it was uncomfortable. It was like we were confined to just that room and our stay was for a week. There was no way we could stay like that. When I informed the host this morning that we would cancel, she told me that she was going to charge me extra because we washed and dried our clothes! I do not think that’s fair as we paid for the night that we stayed there and the washer and dryer were included as amenities. Additionally, the room itself was uncomfortable. It was evident that it was someone’s personal bedroom. There were family pictures, items in the drawers, and a shopping bag full of stuff on the floor. We also had to get our own towels and rags out of the closet as none were set out for us. We had to share the A/C remote so every time we wanted to adjust it, I had to go to the living area to get it. I had to wait on her to clean the laundry area so that I could use it. The microwave does not work as indicated in her listing. I had to use the toaster oven which was no problem except I had to wait on her to clean it too.

This was my second time staying with Sharon. Very comfortable stay in a secure and safe location. Short drive to all amenities and close to POS. Lovely ocean and valley views from the top of the hill. Private bedroom and bathroom with shared living area and kitchen. Sharon was excellent and ensured we were comfortable through our stay. I would highly recommend staying here during your stay in Trinidad.
