Are you a couple, individual or small family looking for a “little cabin in the woods” experience? If so, this home for you. Located on 5 acres of beautiful peacefull forest, this tiny home is a part of Dr. Ira’s meditation and retreat center Encounterland (please message for individual and couple guided retreats). It features 1 bedroom, 1 artisan bathroom, kitchen, living room and special upper attic with queen matress and windows all around (including skylights 😍) Unique tiny home newly made out of one car garage is usually where Dr. Ira hosts her couples who come here for a weekend long heart-to-heart connection to build greater love and intimacy in their relationship. It is also available to you for nature bathing, self-retreats, artist-retreats and rest. This tiny home can accommodate 2 couples at max or 1 couple with 2 kids. Children toys and books can be provided upon request. With big windows overlooking the forest and attic that features skylights it is a paradise for nature lovers. You will have a comfort of the cozy home with modern amenities, yet feeling like you are in the fairy tale cabin in the woods 🥰

Had a great stay! I would recommend this to anyone that wants to get out and have a nice relaxing time.
Beautiful, peaceful location and space. I booked because I needed a place to stay, but ended up getting some much needed peace and rest. Ira was very kind and went out of her way to make me feel at home. The space itself was warm and inviting with a large window that looked out upon the trees. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to rest and reset.
This is a special place. Me and my girlfriend absolutely enjoy every moment there. So clean, beautiful and peaceful. The SPA is incredible with forest around. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely come again. The owner is amazing. She’s so kind and hospitable. She also does retreats I hope we’ll have a chance to join it next time. Thank you Irina for your kindness and hospitality. We really appreciate it.
This place has so much great energy and is exactly the spot to relax and enjoy everything that the space offers. The surrounding forest gives it such a nice touch as well as the sauna and hot tub, if available, are amazing. It was such an amazing experience being up there and a one night trip felt so much longer because of all we were able to enjoy. Will definitely be back!

We are in rural, peacefull, wooded area of 5-acres properties. It is such a lovely stroll / run you are welcome to take just out of your door.
The tastiest pizza on Earth, “The Pizza Place”, is 5 min away and they have live local music Friday and Saturday, karaoke on Wednesdays.
Closest grocery shop - Holiday Market, is 10 min drive.
10 min drive and you are on the main street of Placerville historic town with adorable shops and art galleries.
15 min drive from Apple Hill and in the midst of many wineries. There are many fruit farms. We are located in the very center of the historical gold rush and in Placerville there is a park with a mine that you can enter. Its called Gold Bug. Try those pans as they used to do to search for gold (you can laugh, but I also thought “what will I do for an hour with this plate ?!!”... 65 minutes later, "eh, what, already?" very meditative experience :)).
Placerville also has a public swimming pool.
20 minutes drive to Janckinson Lake. My son and I love this lake much more than crowded Tahoe (which is little over 1 hour away).
30 minutes drive is Coloma and my favorite short hike to American River. You can do rafting on the river, but I just love to go there and do yoga on the sand... play my drum and swim.
1 hour drive to the east, the area of Lake Tahoe begins with multitude of trails and stunningly beautiful lakes. Paradise for hikers.
1 hour the other direction there is Sacramento. I really love Old Town there, by the way in Folsom there is also a very nice old central street. In the Old Sacramento, there is a feeling like I’m in the Wild West. The museum of trains there is very cool. We constantly go back with my son 😅 as they decorate some exhibits for seasonal hollidays.
SMF is the closest airport and about 1 hour drive.
1.5 hours going west - a beautiful lively university town Davis. Farmers market on Saturdays, music (although we have all this in Placerville too). Just there it is bigger and with different vibe. There is also a beautiful arboretum in Davis.
2.5 hour drive to San Francisco
You will need a car over here :)
