Our home is nestled in a quiet 30 acre mountain setting with an amazing view! The space includes full kitchen and dining, bathroom, and bedroom at ground level (no stairs). My husband and I reside in the second floor of the home. Guests have complete privacy during their stay. The property location offers quick access to a major interstate putting opportunities in Western North Carolina and Asheville within reach. We are just a few miles from Mars Hill University. Families with kids are welcome. The space has a full kitchen, living room, 1 bedrooms, and one bathroom. The bathroom has private tub/shower space with its own door. The toilet is separate from the shower and also has its own door. There are two private vanity areas both with a door. The bathroom space offers maximum privacy so guests can use the space at the same time. Closet space and drawers are available in the bedroom. The living room has a large TV with Netflix available for guest use. You can login to your own streaming apps as well. Wifi connection is available. The sofa sleeper in the living room is large enough to sleep two comfortably. Our kitchen is equipped with the cooking necessities required to prepare, serve, and eat meals as you would at home...even a crock pot. There is a dual Keurig coffee maker that brews both pods or a pot of coffee. Stock the fridge with whatever you need during your stay. There is available cabinet space for any dry goods you bring. Standard seasonings and salt/pepper are available for your use. Other amenities include a dishwasher, washing machine, and clothes dryer. A propane grill is provided on the front porch. There are two high top tables on the porch for outside seating and dining. Your hosts reside in the upstairs portion of the home. Our space is completely separate. Your privacy will be respected during your stay. The property is fenced in with a motorized gate at the entrance. Guests will be given a gate code to enter the property. We do have two dogs that stay in a fenced in back yard. They come in our home (upstairs) often when we are there and sleep inside at night. They do not enter the guests space. Charlotte is a blond lab, and Willie is a senior Treeing Walker Coonhound. Guests will not have contact with the dogs except by choice at the fence. In addition, there is a chicken coop in the side yard (no noisy rooster). We do have a managed beehive in the back yard situated at a good distance from the guests space. You will not have to go near it unless you choose to do so (at your own risk). We ask that you do not go behind the fencing around the hive.
