We had a great stay with Gloria. Despite having some troubles checking-in, Gloria was very attentive throughout our time in Cusco. She helped us book excursions to see historical ruins in the area. She also helped us book transportation to Agua Calientes (base of Machu Picchu) to get tickets that are sold each morning. Cusco is an amazing place. The neighborhood of this Airbnb is very tranquil and away from all the action. Most Ubers cost less than $2.50 dollars to get to the Plaza de Armas. Taking a taxi is even cheaper but it would be hard to describe where our Airbnb was - we found it most helpful to tell Driver’s to take us to “Plazoleta San Borja”, a park a short walk away from the apartment building.

Overall the place was good, pics show a much bigger place then in reality but that’s understandable from marketing perspective. only cold water in the kitchen, bathroom is very small but doable and no wifi in the master bedroom. (We are very spoiled coming from N American standards and we have a whole new appreciation for our “norms” at home) However Gloria was VERY attentive to us and went above and beyond to accommodate us. This was our first trip to Peru so I have nothing to compare the accommodations to. 10min Uber ride to main Plaza & walking distance to grocery store. Place was also quite dusty but there’s construction happening right outside and windows in Peru have a gap, so outside air always gets in. Over all a very pleasant stay and Gloria is a Fantastic host. Thank you Gloria for having us.

AMAZING! Amazing host. Let me tell everyone how upon being received to the airbnb the elevator was out of service. I was helped by Diego who took my entire luggage up 8 floors by hand. Very very helpful with things I needed to make my stay more comfortable. As for the area, the area is pretty safe and quiet. It is about 15-20 minute walk to plaza de armas. A very comfortable location and comfortable accommodation. Hot showers , heat. I would like to use this post to give thanks once again

We rented Gloria’s apartment for a week while in Cusco. The apartment is spacious, has a lot of light and a laundry room that was very hand (only cold water available to wash). Gloria was also very helpful and easy to reach for any request or question. The only down side for us was the small bed in the main bedroom (about 120cm) , luckily there is a second bedroom so we could use the other bed. Also the cleaning of the apartment could be improved. Overall we had a nice stay and it was a good solution to visit Cusco. Maybe just slightly too far from the center if you really want to enjoy Cusco night life.
