Place was great for the weekend. But just a heads up to people who aren’t a fan of a place without central air, it’s not for you. It’s great if you are though! Has a nice full kitchen which was great. My kids loved the snacks that were set out too. Would definitely stay again!

place is not as advertised. the house is old and needs work. was not clean when we arrived, floors were sticky, shower was dirty as if someone had previously showered, dishes had mold on them. the neighborhood is noisy, not so safe as there were people yelling constantly through the nights there. gas heater was not safe either, gas line was out in the open. inadequate cooling. we would leave and lock doors but when returned, the door had been unlocked. host is poor with communication skills as she did not inform me when a repair man was coming by and my baby was woken up from her nap. would not recomend and definitely not worth the price.

Good place to stay for the price, very nice hosts and would recommend staying here. They have no central HVAC and provide portable heating and cooling units- just FYI.

Generally not as advertised. Inadequate heating; didn't feel safe. Mattress and bedding were old and worn out. Couch was advertised as a sleeping option, but it was not a pull-out and was extremely worn out -- not even comfortable for sitting much less sleeping. All the furniture was old and worn out. Was not worth the money at all. When I reached out to share my complaints/concerns, I was told I could check out early and hope the place rented in a day so I could get a refund on the nights I did not stay. No concern or apology for the inaccurate portrayal of the cottage. It was a disappointing and costly experience. I still believe that I should be refunded for the nights I did not stay. I was up front and honest about my experience directly with the host. The host was not responsive to my concerns and requests, which is all the more surprising because I had expressed interest in renting other Sara Mac properties in the area.
