Cosy cabin (with character, you should not be scared of spiders or other signs of living in the woods), private location, beautiful lake, close to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. Had a lovely stay in autumn! Thank you for having us! Recommend a 100% Tip: Note down wifi password before arriving - no cell service ;)

We loved staying at Kimberly and Rick's place. It was exactly what we needed (with the most beautiful lake view!), and in a great location (it usually took us ~50 minutes to get to Acadia, but the drive was wonderful). Would highly recommend visiting in the fall. Thank you so much for everything!

Thank you Kimberley! We had a fabulous stay here. Everything was faultless, from the very accurate directions to find the property, the lovely atmospheric and comfortable cabin, and last but not least the stunningly beautiful location. The view of the misty lake at breakfast time was beyond words. If only we lived closer (we’re from the UK) then we would return here again and again. Graham, Mayz, Francine and Kai.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for! The most beautiful view (and so many options to take a boat out and see the view from the water), super clean, well-stocked kitchen, and lovely all around. About an hour from Acadia and 20 minutes from the closest town (Family & Friends grocery store has everything you need), it was easy to get around town and we loved several of the recommendations Kimberly provided. If you are looking to cozy up in Maine, this is your spot!

Staying at this cabin was a delightful retreat. It’s tucked away in the woods, and felt like a quiet sanctuary. I enjoyed sitting by the water, watching the chipmunks & even saw a heron! The cabin is very rustic & cozy—a place to getaway from the busy city & slow down. The cabin was without shampoo/conditioner as well as a lighter for the fireplace when I first arrived but the host dropped off these items the following day. They were responsive & helpful.
