We loved the house, it was so relaxing and inviting! The lake was beautiful and peaceful. We loved hearing and watching the loons! Fishing was great! Our favorite spot was the reading nook!

Our family enjoyed the cottage very much. The home was inviting, clean and very comfortable. The property is amazing and we had so much fun catching fish, kayaking and canoeing. Spent are days on the dock or deck just enjoying nature. I would definitely go back.

If you like being in a beautiful natural private setting then,this is your place to stay! The main floor living area is very spacious and matches the description. The lake is swimmable, calm, private and loaded with fish! Our 1st disappointment was the sleeping arrangements. Ground floor bedrooms are as described in the ad. However, we were 6 adults and 2 teenage girls. Two single adults were set to be bunked on the third floor... Be forewarned, access to the 3rd floor is by means of a pull-down ladder! Not very easy to manoeuvre if you are an adult or have mobility issues. The ladder is very steep and right next to the book nook. I would rethink your plans if you are a group with several adults in your party. It would be more suitable for a group with few adults and lots of small kids. 2nd disappointment was the hiking trail. It was overgrown and would not recommended for fear of ticks or deer flies.Walk on the road. Besides the 2 setbacks, the place is great! Would highly recommend.

Hands down our favorite place so far collectively. We choose a new place for a family getaway every year just to keep it fresh, but we will be coming back here next year if they’ll have us. The view of the private lake from the house and it’s deck is absolutely amazing. Everything you could possibly need is provided, and just a super fun place with total privacy. We didn’t see another soul the entire weekend. Just lots of deer and other wildlife.
