The Oak Street Mansion was a great choice for our family of 17 reunion. The downstairs main level is very spacious and has three rooms (dining, sitting, and sun) that are great for sitting and talking with others or playing games. The four bedrooms each on the 2nd and 3rd floors (eight total) were all configured differently, but that made it even better for matching the room with the individual needs of each family. All the bedrooms were very nice, clean, and comfortable, and each had an attached bathroom (two had tubs and the rest had large showers). There is room outside on the deck, balconies, and grounds inside the fence for outdoor activities (no room for a baseball game, but plenty of room for other activities), as well as relaxing sitting areas for group or private conversations. The property is within walking distance for relatively healthy folks (some hills and perhaps a total of a few miles to go and return). The hosts were very friendly, responsive, helpful, and a joy to work with.

Oak Street Mansion is a gem in Kansas City. Perfect location to the Nelson Atkins museum and the plaza. Gorgeous exterior and interior. There was plenty of space and rooms to comfortably fit our large group. And the beds were so comfortable! It was lovely to be able to have a cup of coffee on the balcony and see the spring blooms. The whole house feels peaceful. Thank you for a lovely stay and memories.
