BELLISSIMO! Firstly Gianfranco is a very welcoming and a wonderful host, there's nothing he wouldn't do to make your stay perfect. The Villa and the privacy it offers is fantastic. As others have mentioned the swimming pool is the absolute highlight of the Villa, it's a saltwater pool rather than one that uses chlorine so is better for us and for the environment. Gianfranco organised a table for us at a fantastic restaurant up at Savoca, which is lovely town with lots of connections to The Godfather movie. Just be warned the direct route to drive to Savoca is challenging so don't follow your the shortest route your sat nav offers or you'll find yourself navigating very narrow roads up the mountainside! Absolutely nothing negative to say about Villa Siciliana, if you want a relaxing and quiet break away from the frantic pace of life then this is the place to visit. There's a supermarket about 5 minutes drive away where you can you get everything you need to have a wonderful stay.

Gianfranco war ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der sich täglich um uns gekümmert hat, uns Tipps gab und gute Restaurantempfehlungen gab, die er auch für uns reserviert hat. Die Unterkunft ist authentisch sizilianisch mit sehr viel Platz auch im Außenbereich, tollem Pool, Grill, vielen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten, Sonnen- und Schattenplätzen, toller Aussicht und sehr ruhig. Küchengeräte und Textilien waren ausreichend vorhanden, Waschmaschine und Dusche außen und innen vorhanden, ein Auto ist allerdings unbedingt erforderlich, ein sehr gut bestückter Supermarkt in 5 min erreichbar. Das einzige Manko für uns war, dass wir unsere Unterkunft mit vielen Insekten verschiedener Arten teilen mussten, was uns zunächst nicht entspannt hat. Repellents und Insektizide waren nötig, trotz Mückengittern überall. Sonst ein wunderbarer Ort, auch für 6 Personen geeignet, die meisten Attraktionen der Gegend sind in 1 - 1,5 h Autofahrt bequem zu erreichen. Danke Gianfranco.

Our stay at this Airbnb villa was good overall. The villa looked just like the pictures, but the floors were a bit dirty, so indoor shoes were necessary. Meeting the owner at a nearby restaurant for check-in was inconvenient; we'd prefer meeting at the villa. We had to buy amenities like toilet paper, dish soap, and laundry detergent. However, it served as a good base for exploring East Sicily and was worth the price. One thing to note is that there is a nearby church, which can be a nuisance for light sleepers.

It was such a joy to stay at this Villa. Beautifully quiet area, beautiful outdoor area and well maintained clean pool. Typical Sicilian house inside, with all the listed amenities. If you are driving, it’s only a 20 minute drive into the beautiful city of Taormina - which was stunningly beautiful. There are beaches nearby and the water is clear and we spent a lot of time in there! Gianfranco was very warm and welcoming and we always felt we had a safe pair of hands if we had any questions. He helped us organise dinner reservations and gave local information. One of the best hosts we’ve had and a an absolute pleasure. We were sad to go home and sad to say goodbye!
