The family went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable during our stay. When we had a child with a grazed knee they whizzed over supplies and were so accommodating despite managing other bookings at the same time. Great cottages, great for families with young children and adults alike- we would love to return. Many thanks

Sheelah & Jack were very welcoming and proactive when we had difficulties with the cooker. The accommodation was warm and cosy even in January when we visited. We didn't need to light the log burner. The furniture was comfortable although we think that more than 6 persons seated in the kitchen would be a tad cosy. The beds were comfortable and linen clean. The games room had snooker, table tennis and darts available. The room is heated but a couple more of the ceiling halogen heaters would probably be beneficial. They are on a timed switch and 20 minutes, rather than the current 10 mins would be better. But we still enjoyed our times in the games room. We didn't use the TVs so can't comment on these. The wifi worked well. EE mobile signal is not good but this isn't Sheelah's fault. We visited The Black Swan pub - absolutely brilliant and only 1/2 hour's walk away across country. All in all we had a lovely break and intend to return at some point.

We had a lovely stay at Swallows, using it as a base for our annual visit to Bewilderwood. The property was clean, well equipped and perfect for our short stay. We met Sheelah on the following morning after we had checked in. She was very personable and proactive in providing us with the further kitchen equipment we required. Swallows was a spacious and comfortable property set in a beautifully peaceful location. We made use of the swimming pool which was located a short distance away. We will certainly stay here again in the future.

Sheelah and Jack were first class hosts, from start to finish: going out of their way to help us and make sure our stay was really comfortable and that we had all we needed. It’s a wonderful property, set in very serene countryside but close to all we wanted to explore. Perfect for our family. Will definitely stay again!! Thank you 😊
