Unfortunately this was the worst experience I ever made an Airbnb and I would not recommend staying at their apartments. First we didn't get the apartment we paid for due to security checks just like the guests before us. So it's pretty weird that these checks take that long? We got checked into a 2br apartment in the same building. The host apologized for the circumstances and we accepted that, but were kinda disappointed still. During our stay we had to wait a long time for her to respond to our questions and problems and even send reminders. When we asked for a second card to enter the building and apartment we were told that we're going to get one the next day - but that never happened. At the end of our vacation in Saigon our flight got pushed back and we asked them if we could check out late and got hit with late checkout fees and etc. - which is the normal procedure but regarding the fact of our super late check in and all the other circumstances - we expected the host's understanding... A day after our stay we got harassing and racist messages because of dirty sheets and towels. I told her that it's just makeup and no big deal and since when is it the guests responsibility to make sure that sheets and towels are clean? Airbnb ensured us that we did nothing wrong but we never got an apology from them and would not recommend anyone to stay at their listings.
