Rachel and Maurice are a genuinely caring and lovely couple who went out of their way to ensure we had a very enjoyable stay. Loved Rachel‘s homemade brown bread and apple cake. They definitely deserve the Super host status. Our stay far exceeded expectations. Very comfortable bed and house was very clean and well thought out. We will be back!

Highly recommended. Rachel was a wonderful host. Can’t ask for better one. She did everything to make sure we are comfortable. She was a warm hearted. She kindly provided us some food on our arrival. We really enjoyed ourselves staying in Dungravan.

We had a lovely 5 night stay at the Gate House in Dungarvan. It's ideally located on the outskirts of the town and is around 20 minutes walk to the centre or a few minutes drive. Rachel and Maurice were very friendly and welcoming and provided lovely homemade brown bread, apple cake and jam. Rachel gave us so much information, dropped us into town and gave us a tour of the town centre. The house was very clean and comfortable with fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV and great WiFi. We picked fresh tomatoes from the tomato plant in the garden. Rachel and Maurice are Super Hosts. Would highly recommend the Gate House!

What a great stay we had at the gatehouse! Rachel and Maurice were exceptionally attentive, had beautiful homemade bread, jam and apple cake ready upon arrival! A fabulous guide with anything you could possibly think of for your stay- from activities to takeaways, to restaurants, pubs, taxi’s… everything you could think of! Close enough to town to be able to walk, and right on the greenway, and so close to the gorgeous clonea strand and Comeragh mountains… just such a lovely stay! Rachel and Maurice were such a lovely, welcoming couple who went above and beyond for us! Gave us a personal tour and even shared a drink! So lovely! Honestly couldn’t ask for more! We stayed at Rachel's and must say we enjoyed it. Very welcoming on arrival before unpacking just put on the kettle and there was homemade brown bread ,cakes , jam, and fresh eggs etc very clean and had all requirements .Very busy road though into town , we did not feel it safe for walking.
