My friends and I stay (Fri-Sun) for our marathon starting in Minehead on the Saturday. The location was ideal for us as and if we needed to go to the shops it was only a short drive down the road. We really enjoyed staying in the lodge as it was comfy, cosy, welcoming and peaceful (all you could hear was peacocks, seagulls, horses). The bedrooms had enough space to store our belongings and the beds were perfect for us. There was plenty of room in the sitting room and conservatory. I messaged Simon and Jill on the Saturday evening to see if we could extend our check-out time as we didn't feel we would be ready for 10am, after checking with the cleaners we were able to until noon, which we were very grateful for! We had an very enjoyable stay so much that we didn't want to leave, we could've quite easily stayed for longer! None of us could find a fault with the lodge. Thank you!

Simon and Jill were friendly and approachable. We enjoyed our stay. Place is suitable for a family of upto 4 people.

My family and I had a lovely weekend stay. Very clean cozy place. Jill was very hospitable. She came and introduced herself and to make sure that the heating was working ok. And that if we needed any help on anything to not hesitate to contact her. We very much enjoyed watching all the animals roaming around. Our fave was the peacock .

The lodge was great, easy to find and check-in was so simple. Lots of space for four adults. Beds comfy and the place had all we needed. Thank you, Simon and Jill, for your hospitality!
