Our stay could not have been better. Melissa was warm and welcoming, and even held off bottle feeding the baby goats for a little bit so my goat-obsessed son could do it. The place is wonderful, comfortable, and good value for money. Particularly notable for the rustic surroundings is that the water pressure is excellent. My son had only one complaint: that his silly mother had booked only one night, when one night was clearly not enough nights.
Melissa was great to work with. The guest house was fine. The area to walk through to get to the room was overgrown and not maintained. The photos are not very current. The place was fine for a couple nights for the cheap price. The road to get into the place is all sand and dirt, this could be tough for some when it rains.
Melissa’s place is to die for! We loved the farm and will definitely be back!! Cam the dog loved our dog LT Dan! If you’re even debating on getting biscuits doooo it!!! They’re amazing and we even got a jar of Plum Jam that went perfectly with them! Thank you sooo much for allowing us to stay - we are telling everyone about y’all!
Melissa was incredibly nice and a wealth of knowledge. You can see the passion she has for her goats and all of her other animals as well. I learned a ton about goats! GPS took us right to her farm without any issues. Stayed in the storm shelter cabin for 1 night. Perfect size for 1 or 2 people. It has a private bath, fridge, kitchenette and bed and TV along with a/c. Rustic but comfortable. Bring your bug spray. Was a refreshing change from some hotel chain! Just be aware this is a functioning farm and amenities are rustic, if you are looking for luxury this may not be for you.
Peaceful stay! All the animals are really friendly and adorable.

Goat House Farm is a Farmher operated 501(c)(3) farm in a rural area of Tallahassee on the beautiful Lake Talquin. The farm has its humble beginnings in the summer of 05 with four acres, four goats, and four chickens. Founded on the love of animals and a passion for sustainability, we remain committed to compassionate practices and the most natural care of our land and animals as possible. As stewards of the land and herd, we believe we have a responsibility to share nature's blessings. We offer several agritourism opportunities on the farm, from farmstays to day visits. It is our goal to create a space where our visitors can have fun and learn about the animals who share that space. We also strive to serve as a valuable resource for first time goat owners. To support that endeavor, we sell chicken eggs, specialty cottage goods, honey, and natural goat milk and honey products. We also sell raw goat milk (for pet consumption only, as per Florida law). All proceeds from our rentals go toward our youth programs. We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in our programming and partners.
