I have nothing but good things to say about The Tern Inn; it is among the very best AirBnB's I've stayed at. The property was beautiful and quiet and perfectly situated on the bank of the Ochlockonee River. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and appointed with the care a real human person would give their actual home. I appreciated the hosts' inclusion of hiking (especially), dining, and cultural recommendations in their guest book. The house is a great basecamp for exploring the Apalachicola National Forest -- take advantage! Also I saw an eagle from the back porch. Wonderful stay. Hope to visit again soon.
It was everything I thought it would be! Just a beautiful place on the water! The host were very responsive! Hope to go back many more times!
Very nice place to stay, beautiful river and wonderful covered patio. Kitchen was very usable and the whole house was clean and welcoming. Will advise the shower is a little small so if you’re a larger person it will be tight.
I loved staying here! My husband and I rented the place for a long weekend with our two other friends. The place was comfortable, well stocked, and had a lot of helpful information about fun things to check out in Tallahassee. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful and peaceful view. The windows at the little house are nice and big and you get to enjoy the view of a peaceful river and lots of wild life. The hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with, the home was cozy and clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My husband and I want to go back again soon!
