This place is a slice of heaven. Can’t say more than that. Cathy and Alan are beautiful hosts and made sure we were well looked after. We felt blessed they were kind enough to share such a beautiful space. Thanks to you both.

We had a great stay--the view was spectacular and the house very comfortable. We had our kids with us, so I was a little disappointed to realize that the rocky coast was so rocky and steep that it was not safe or possible to walk along the water at all. Also, the roads had no shoulders and were windy, so it also didn't feel safe to walk to the light house alone or with the kids. We lucked out and had great weather for day trips to the beach, but in retrospect everything was really too far for us to keep the kids entertained or do day trips. This is the perfect place to stay for jumping off after the ferry from Bar Harbor for 2 nights max for a 7-10 day road trip around NS. Cathy was amazing and a fantastic host. The house was perfectly equipped including lobster pot! We ate some great seafood.

Magnifique lieu pour se reposer et se ressourcer dans la nature. La vue est simplement à couper le souffle, et les paysages typique des côtes maritimes. L’expérience en vaut la peine, autant par veau temps qu’avec la brume! Je recommande vivement.

This is a very special air BnB because of the amazing location! We felt like we had a little slice of paradise sitting in the backyard looking out over the ocean. The home was well stocked and very comfortable. Cathy was very communicative and helped us out with directions when our GPS didn’t pick up the address at first. Check in was easy - we enjoyed our brief stay.

The view from Cathy's place is just wonderful, even in the fog that hung on through our stay. The water is just mesmerizing. It feels isolated but you are 15 minutes from two large supermarkets and more. The kitchen is quite well equipped for cooking and eating. The furniture/beds are comfortable. The shower is good and the bathroom is huge. We'd come back!
