Overall we had a great stay at Benjamin’s place. I noticed the previous review and not to dismiss anyone else’s experience but thought it might help to share ours. We stayed at Benjamin’s with our 10 month old daughter for about two weeks. First I want to note that Benjamin is a great host. He was very responsive and did everything he could to ensure we were comfortable. Having everything we needed for our daughter was incredibly helpful. We found Benjamin’s place generally quite comfortable. They do have a cat so naturally there’s some cat hair but as pet owners ourselves we didn’t find it excessive. There are a few house rules, one of which is to not open the front windows. Benjamin is very accommodating so would recommend talking to him directly if something is impacting your stay. The building had some damage from a recent storm, but we met the contractors doing work to address them so it’s temporary. Luxury can mean different things for everyone but we were very comfortable

Benjamin has an excellent host, the apartment in beautifully furnished, in a great location and with quintessential Amsterdam views. We travelled with young children and Benjamin went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed (even a high-chair, cribs, play-pen, etc). I couldn't recommend the stay more - we had a fantastic time. Thanks!

We loved staying here, and it felt like home away from home! The location of this flat is incredible, such a wonderful street, overlooking the canal, steps away from so many restaurants and cafes. The place was spacious, comfortable and elegant, just as described. We especially loved the well-stocked kitchen and open living area. The master bedroom was very comfortable and it was nice to have laundry on site. The second bedroom is a bit small, with a twin bed, but we knew this beforehand, so it was fine for our teenager. We didn't mind all of the stairs, so that was totally fine. The outdoor terrace was so nice, although the weather didn't enable us to spend much time there. Benjamin is an incredibly responsive host, with excellent communication. Overall we would definitely stay there again and recommend highly.

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our time in Amsterdam. Ben’s flat was well appointed, very comfortable, set up well for our family. Our girls loved the cat also. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful place with terrific amenities, especially for a young family. You cannot beat the location or the views. We felt very safe and comfortable. The hosts are also very responsive.
