THE VIEW!!!! This place is a gem! The view and location of this place is unparalleled to any other place we have stayed in the Hawaiian Islands. We spent almost all of our time under 1 of the 2 pavilions, or down at the beach which is a super short walk down the driveway to get to. The home itself is a charming historic plantation home. You can tell the love the owners have for this home and they have made thoughtful upgrades. The home is also well appointed. We cooked about 2 meals a day here, and the grill was nice and clean - not something you always find a airbnbs. I really appreciated the extra linens and pillows, it was great to have some extra comfort. The host was super helpful and responsive to make sure we had a great stay. AND I adored the neighborhood - a true taster of authentic Kauai. We’ll definitely be back next time we come the Kauai!

Words cannot describe how wonderful and special this location, beach, and property are. The hosts are truly welcoming and accomodating - definitely the most attentive and sincere we have experienced through airbnb. The views are breathtaking, the beach is among the most private and secluded we've ever experienced (and we were born/raised on the nicest beaches in southern CA). The property itself is amazing - such a cool yard with diverse foliage, flowers, trees, fruit, etc. All very private and away from any neighbors. The beach is easily accessible down the driveway and a private path right to the sand! Perfect for our family of 5, we all loved it. I cannot explain in words accirately enough, but through all our (admittedly modest) travels, this is the first time it felt difficult to leave somewhere (usually at the end of a vacation it feels nice to go home to your own bed!). We cannot wait to return to magical Moloa beach!

What a view! And a wonderful beach, also! Our family of 5 plus baby had a great time at Joy’s place, relaxing and enjoying the privacy. I definitely didn’t want to leave.

We had a fantastic stay at Joy's place! Moloa'a is a peaceful, quiet beach on the North Shore. We've rented several houses there. Joy's had the best views and was the most private of all three. The house is spacious with room for several adult couples or a family, and is well-appointed. There are two covered lanais outside and a large lawn for enjoying the amazing views. It also has a solid Internet connection that's plenty fast for remote work in case that's inescapable. The beach is just a few feet away, snorkeling and swimming are great in the protected bay, and there are hiking trails nearby. Princeville, Hanalei, Kapa'a are all a short drive away. Joy was very responsive to the few questions that we had ... highly recommended!

This place is simply breathtaking. Very quiet and secluded. The beach feels like a private beach. Gorgeous sand, perfect for snorkeling and swimming. The house is a bit dated but everything works and is clean. Some windowpanes are missing and one of the rooms only has mesh screen but no panes. Getting there was a bit tricky. Google maps stops short of the house and there doesn't seem to be cellular reception. There are three gates two with combination lock and one just a rope. The Check-in instruction could defiantly be better. Having said that this is one of the best Airbnb experiences I ever had, also possibly the best location ever. Joy was really nice and super helpful. I would book this place again in a heartbeat. Mahalo Joy for sharing your home with me and my family. Hope to see you again sometime. Cheers.
