- setting: perfectly situated an hour away from Sacramento, on the way to Lake Tahoe, in the midst of world-class wineries - facilities: very comfortable beds, amply stocked baths, vast poolside patio for BBQ and entertainment with hot tub/fire pit - host: super responsive prior to stay, most welcoming, very accommodating, serves satisfying breakfast and hors d'oeuvres - extra: special arrangement for private wine tasting, plenty of attention to details, adorable pets (only if interaction desired) Thanks much, Shari & Clay, Tebow & Bentley

Shari’s house was very beautiful and comfortable, and the pool and hot tub were great! The one thing we thought was lacking was the breakfast. While breakfast was provided, it was more of a continental breakfast with fruit, jimmy dean frozen breakfast sandwiches, and croissants that were stale. In the listing it states that this is a traditional bed and breakfast which we assumed would mean a cooked breakfast. That could have just been a miscommunication but I think the listing should be changed to reflect what is actually provided. Overall we had a great trip and Shari was a great host!

What an excellent stay! My wife and I spent the weekend at Shari's B&B with some friends to celebrate our wedding and we could not have been happier with the experience! Shari is a consummate host and such a wonderful and thoughtful individual. We felt all of our wants and needs were addressed and she was an excellent guide to the surrounding region as well! I cannot recommend her more highly.

Shari's place is just as described and she is an amazing host. She made our stay extra special with berries, cookies, and an Italian cocktail when we arrived. Her place was perfect for our group and she accommodated all our needs, providing grilling supplies and even ice and condiments. Her beds are comfortable and her pool is wonderful! Her cooking is great as well.

We had a great time staying here. Everything was clean and there were thoughtful touches everywhere including robes, water bottles, snacks, a Bluetooth speaker, etc. We rented out all three rooms and so we really felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Shari gave us complete privacy but was always available if we needed her for anything and she would provide little treats here and there which was always a nice surprise. Beds were comfortable, the hot tub was great, and her property was quiet and had a lot of fun wild life to watch (deer, turkeys, rabbits). We really enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. We would definitely like to go back some day.
