Had a lovely stay with a big group of family and friends across the two barns. Lots for everyone to do, some beautiful walks and a great pub nearby.
We had a wonderful stay at Fenns & Foggs Barn. Gorgeous cottages with everything you need for a comfortable, peaceful and very enjoyable stay. Beautiful surroundings and plenty to explore nearby. Responsive host with clear, helpful instructions. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!
We had an amazing time in Fenns lodge and Foggs barn cellabrating my Daughters 40th birthday. Home from home what a beautiful Air b n b , everything we needed and such a cosy place to stay, nothing was too much trouble for Jason and Michelle to make our stay special, bottle of wine, cookies and milk on arrival, dressing gown and slippers for the hotbtub. So much to do in the area , and a recomendation for the local pub The Black Lion to finish our celebration with a superb meal. We hope to stay here again in the future.
What a fantastic weekend for my mums 60th, we booked both barns which were beautiful and very clean. Michelle recommended that we only hire one tub as we’d all likely pile into one of them together and she was right! We had a gorgeous lunch at the local pub too. Highly recommended if you are looking for an easy, restful weekend :) x
We had such a great time at Jason and Michelle's. We booked the 2 properties for a New Year celebration with our extended family, including small children. The parents and children stayed in the farmhouse with the rest of us in the barn. We actually spent almost all the time together in the barn which has a huge dining room table, plenty of comfy seating and room for the little ones to play but it was a luxury to have the separate space towards the end of the day!! Both kitchens are very well equipped with everything we needed to cook and serve a celebratory meal - loads of plates, glasses, champagne flutes in both properties - we never ran out. There really is everything you need in this property for a relaxing break! The area is beautiful with lovely walks etc. We had plenty of rain but still managed to get out every day! We enjoyed an early dinner at the Black Lion just down the road - in better weather this would be easily walkable from the property. We loved it!

We have opened up our farm buildings, so people can come and enjoy the quieter side of The Peak District Butterton has to offer. So with this in mind, we as a family are here if you need us during your stay, but understand that you have probably come away for the peace and quiet. So we may see you in passing around the farm or you can find us at our house. We hope you enjoy your stay. Our farm has been in the Renshaw family for over a hundred years. Jason is still hands on on the farm in his spare time, but became a teacher of English 14 years ago. Michelle left her job as a teaching assistant 8 years ago when the family opened up more accommodation to guests. We enjoy spending as much quality time with our three girls in this beautiful part of the Uk, with plenty of walks from the door.
