A magical weekend on Inishcoo for a large group of friends. The house is bigger than it looks in the photos so we had plenty of room for everyone. Oscar was always on hand (with a smile) to boat us back to the mainland when we needed. Spent one day exploring the island and swimming in a sheltered cove. Hope to return some day!

If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, Inishcoo is IT. The island is a place of stunning and tranquil natural beauty. Wonderful walks, and 'Near Beach' became our unofficial outdoor headquarters: swimming, tide pools, kite flying, football.... We spent hours there whenever the weather cooperated, which was for most of our stay! The house held all of us, and we were a big group; the spacious living area was great for games, puzzles, conversation, and an epic singalong. Communication with Caroline before our visit was excellent, and on site, Oscar answered our questions with patience and good humor, helping us with all of our (many!) needs. It is such a special place, and we hope to return one day.

This was a magical stay. We loved our time on the island. Be careful hiking off trail as some of the island is bog like in nature.

We were a group of 10 friends visiting Inishcoo for the weekend and we really cannot rate it highly enough. The setting is idyllic and the house is lovely (the photos don't do it justice). It easily accommodated all of us and had everything you could ask for. We were lucky with the weather (not really, Oscar said he'd arrange the weather so it shouldn't have been in doubt!) and had lovely swims every day. Oscar simply could not do enough for us and made all the planning so straightforward. We came away having had an unforgettable weekend in a truly special place and only wish we had given ourselves longer to explore and enjoy all that the house, island and surroundings had to offer. Oh dear, sounds like we'll just have to go back 😉
