We loved our week in the woods. It was so relaxing with beautiful views of the Strait. Much time was spent on the deck watching the sunset. And the pond on the property just completed the feeling of tranquility. We were able to take advantage of the cherry trees and there are wild berries as well. We felt as if we were out in the country yet Port Angeles and Sequim are only about 10 miles away. The Olympic National Forest is close by and trips to Hurricane Ridge, Crescent and Sol De Luc falls are so accessible. Forks and La Push are just a couple of hours away with many hiking opportunists . Port Townsend and Whidbey Island are in the other direction but well worth the ride. If you go to Whidbey Island be sure to allow time to see Deception Pass State Park. In nearby Sequim, you will be able to see many lavender farms. Our favorite is Purple Haze. Our hosts made sure everything was perfect. They were friendly and accommodating but respected our privacy. We cannot wait to return.

We rented the main cabin and cottage. Great place, good for hosting a family. Hosts have outstanding hospitality, was very impressed with the bottle of wine gift and nice note they left for us. The grounds are neat to roam around, despite the mosquitoes from the pond, which are everywhere in July. Only one bathroom in the cabin, attached to the master bedroom. Master bedroom has no door, open to the house. Place was pretty spotless and cozy. Cottage had a little bit of a bug problem in the skylight, needs some caulking and sealing in several areas. I would definitely rent these properties again, great value and location.
