We had a lovely stay. The location and view were amazing, great sunset views. The house was very comfortable--at one point in our stay we had 6 people. Kitchen was very well-equipped, thoughtful amenities and supplies, great wifi, etc. I want to respond to a few of the criticisms in previous reviews: 1. The refrigerator door did NOT fall off. 2. The couch was fine. 3. Yes, the knives were dull. 4. Yes, the bed in the downstairs bedroom (queen size) was very hard. My mom ended up sleeping on the couch for the rest of her stay. 5. The second bathroom upstairs was very small. Intended for two bedrooms to share. But some people could share the downstairs bathroom if necessary (larger, for one bedroom, but still small countertop). 6. Window screen missing in the twin-bed bedroom. If you have little kids staying in that room, pay attention. Overall, we would return. Thank you for a relaxing stay. I can still hear the ocean...

The photos made the home look like a deluxe stunner. Certainly the beachfront location (where our son grew up surfing) was just that, but the house not so much. The cabinets were worn, the kitchen knives were dull, the couch was uncomfortable, the beds were rock hard (with sheets that felt like polyester in the primary bedroom), and the tiny sample-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner were used up by day three. It was definitely not worth $1,000 (!) a night, even with the premium location. Too bad. Lesson learned.

The house was beautiful, the views were fabulous and the location was perfect. The house has high end Viking appliances in the kitchen but the microwave door stuck and and the front burner seems to heat unevenly. The refrigerator stopped working the first day we were there. It kept shorting out. We moved all the food to the small refrigerator in the garage for the night. MY son adjusted the ice maker and the refrigerator stayed on over night so we moved the food back into the house. The big issue was that the big refrigerator door completely fell off and crashed onto the floor with the door storage completely full. We again moved all the food into the smaller refrigerator. This refrigerator was not in the house but in a separate detached garage. Then we got the run around for almost 3 days. We just wanted to know when the refrigerator would be fixed. It got to be a joke because every response had a different excuse. If they couldn’t fix it for 3 days they just needed to admit it. The refrigerator door was reinstalled on the last night of our vacation but it was a temporary fix and we weren’t comfortable with it so we left the food in the detached garage. We really did have a great vacation but we busted assumed we would have a refrigerator in the kitchen…not in a detached garage.

This was a great experience and our entire family enjoyed this wonderful home. It’s light and bright and modern with all the comforts you’d expect a luxurious beach front home to have. The space is very well appointed and allows freedom for every family member to enjoy the activities they’re interested in doing.
