Tracey is impeccable with keeping a beautiful, clean and functional space. The outside yard is a natural oasis with tall trees and manicured gardens. The room, and the whole house is spacious and bright. She is friendly, responsive, and obviously cares about keeping a beautiful and workable space for your stay.

Tracey is a GREAT Host. This is the second time I stayed with Tracey at her retreat house in the wilderness. Even on this second visit, from the moment I arrived... I felt welcome and felt like our friendship grew even more than the first stay. Tracey is one of those people that you just warm up to immediately. During this second stay, I was at Tracey's house for 6 months and I enjoyed my stay immensely. There was always something to keep me active around the property (2 acres) if I wanted to get in a bit of exercise. I took on a few chores, like cutting firewood and gathering brush to burn in the campfire. Those were usually at the top of my list, and I enjoy the challenges and the exercise. When I didn't feel like doing any work or activities, I'd crack open a drink and sit by the pond taking in the outdoors. Everything was just as advertised, and everything I needed was there at my disposal. I'd like to thank Tracey again for everything and being such a great host. Darcy

I stayed at Tracey's house for 8 months and I enjoyed my stay immensely. There was always something to do on the property (2 acres) if I wanted to stay active. Doing a few chores like shoveling snow, or cutting firewood was always at the top of my list, as I enjoy the challenges and the exercise. When I didn't feel like doing a bit of work... I'd break out my snowshoes and get even more exercise. Everything was just as advertised, and everything I needed was there at my disposal. I'd like to thank Tracey again for everything. Darcy

Tracey's Denbigh location is a 2-bedroom house, set back from the road for privacy, and surrounded by woods and a pond. There is lots of wildlife; I saw chickadees which ate seeds from my hand, as well as blue jays and wild turkeys. The house has a large rear deck, letting you sit outside and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Inside, the house has all the amenities that you would need, including a large fridge, lots of kitchen utensils, nice wood panelling throughout, and satellite TV in the living room and both bedrooms. The DSL Internet was quite good considering this is a rural location; speedtest.net reported: ping: 12 ms; download: 10.11 Mbps; upload: 0.75 Mbps. The WiFi signal was strong throughout the house. I stayed in the huge master bedroom, which has lots of windows and a king-size bed. Please note that Denbigh does not have many services other than a gas station and a general store; you will need a vehicle to drive to Northbrook, Bancroft or Renfrew for groceries, etc. There is no cellular reception at all in Denbigh, but there is a land-line provided. Tracey was quick to answer any questions, and very helpful with the inevitable few minor glitches that occurred. She was a great host who ensured that each guest enjoyed their stay. I would definitely consider staying again, and highly recommend her house.
