Beautiful cabin, loved it

On the positive side, the host was responsive, courteous and friendly from the time of booking up until check in. On a less positive note, the cabin had a strong musty/animal odour. The sheets were damp with mildew and stained. The furniture was old and/or broken (‘vintage’ is a very generous word) - it looked nothing like the photos listed and is close to the managers house so not tranquil either. The amenity pack was missing coffee and the sugar had solidified into solid lumps inside the paper + the ‘bathroom amenities’ were empty containers of shampoo/body wash and a roll of wet toilet paper. The cabin is in desperate need of some love and care - especially in regard to cleaning and having less ‘loved’ furniture/linen around as it makes the place look even more tired than it already is. Having said all of that, if you are okay with a modest step up from camping, this place might just be for you👌

It was a bit of a shock at first because the entrance looks wrong. It’s also in the bush so lots of spider webs around but once you settle in it’s super lovely, private, comfortable and clean.
