Jill’s home is lovely and well stocked. She was very communicative and even offered to loan us a wagon to tote our toddler and his gear around in! The full kitchen was great for cooking, with lots of personal touches and there are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby too. Situated close to the street car, this location feels safe and accessible. We had a wonderful time staying in Jill’s oasis - the only downside for us was that the bathtub wasn’t functional for a soak. The shower was completely adequate for getting clean, with plenty of hot water though! I would not hesitate to stay here on our next trip if we get the chance.

Jill was a remarkable host. She answered all of our questions promptly and provided us with helpful information about the neighborhood and how to get around. During a particularly bad storm, Jill was kind enough to wade through knee deep water to move our car to higher ground. The unit itself was very comfortable and well provisioned. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our small dog. We would definitely stay with Jill again.

I enjoyed my stay. The place was comfortable and well stocked for anything, whether you want to stay in and cook or go out and enjoy New Orleans many festivals and parades. Walking distance to the streetcar and restaurants or a close drive to other great places, like my favorite place Breads on Oak. I enjoyed taking my pup on many walks around the neighborhood and seeing the local peacock along with the beautiful gardens. Jill was readily available for any questions. I’d choose this place again.

The apartment was just what I wanted and had anticipated, and Jill was extremely helpful. She even gave me a ride back to the airport and would not accept any payment for this very welcome helping hand. I hope to stay with Jill again if I come back to New Orleans. She helped me out with all the little things that may come up during a stay in a foreign city or country.
