My wife and I were looking for a cabin in the woods and that is exactly what we found! Kate's place is the perfect getaway to unplug and reconnect with nature. It was peaceful, quiet, and perfect! We are normally the type of people to venture out and see the surrounding area, but we loved the cabin so much, we never left. We cooked, played games, went for walks, and just enjoyed the calmness that the cabin makes you feel! We will definitely return!

My family and I enjoyed every minute spent at the cabin. Kate’s instructions were clear and very easy to follow. The cabin and location of the cabin was very peaceful, more than expected. Which was delightful to experience. The cabin is very private, clean, tidy, and it’s almost like you’re in a beautiful oasis of Kate’s art work. I caught myself in awe of her artwork, the fine touches made us feel so cozy and safe. It has a very cleansing energy. We will return when we pass through Maine again. This is was our very first airbnb and Kate set the stage. We thank you so much for being a 5 star host!

Our stay at the cabin was once again fantastic. Kate offered new upgrades (a mattress topper) since our last visit, and our family had a great time! We loved spending mornings on the back porch with our 8 month old son and dog. The cabin has trails on the property that were perfect for getting outside, and the balcony in the bedroom allowed for amazing views of the stars. We enjoyed sitting outside stargazing while our son was asleep in the bedroom. We would love to come back for another visit!

If you want to get away from it all and unwind Kate's place is exactly that! The house has every detail one can think of. It is very comfortable and homey. It's a bonus that dogs are allowed. Kate even has all the things you would need for them, a bed, a towel for muddy paws and couch covers. The views are of course amazing and the later day sun makes it hard to want to go anywhere for dinner other than there! Relax and cook with some cheese and wine, its unbeatable. While the place is private and quiet there is plenty to do and several restaurants within 10 to 40 minutes, depending how far you want to go. The bed is comfortable, linens and towels very nice. Kate was VERY responsive and helpful from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend Kate's place to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing space with lovely light and views. Kate really did not miss one single thing to make your stay here memorable.
