We had a wonderful stay at Lucy’s lovely little beachside cottage. The location was amazing, super close to the beach and a few wonderful pubs, with great food. The cottage was lovely & Lucy was super communicative, with lots of helpful recommendations and flexibility on check-in. Would 100% stay here again!

We have stayed at the property before and love the location. Instow is one of our favourite places to visit. The property location is spot on within less than a minute and you are on the beach or the local restaurants and bars. The property was clean but a couple of constructive criticism for us that when paying £175.00 per night we found the WiFi was extremely slow. Bedroom door handle was broken and left on the floor and you can see the property has had a leak of some sort on the bathroom ceiling which needs repairing and mould is showing on the wall in kitchen area. We would say the property needs a little TLC to bring it up to standard as you are paying premium prices. That being said we had a wonderful stay and would definitely book again.

Perfect for a short break. Directly opposite the beach and a couple of restaurants which was perfect when it was a bit rainy! Upside down living and the living area felt really beachy style wise which is great for a holiday IMO. Plenty of room in the downstairs entrance for boots and coats so really easy to keep the sand out of the main accommodation. But my favourite bit was sitting at the dining table either the windows directly overlooking the beach. With a book. With a coffee. That was quickly adopted as my fave spot! Didn’t really hear from host after arrival but didn’t need anything and kept ourselves to ourselves so that suited us fine, plus we know the area well. Would def rebook.

Well, what can I say about Lucy's Cottage? Wonderful, beautiful are few things that spring to mind! This has to be hands down, one of the nicest Air B&B's I have had the pleasure of staying in, just perfect! Pros Location, cleanliness, welcome gifts, information provided. Lucy! Observations (I don't want to call them "Cons" as that would be a very, very unfair, but worth "noting", NOT NEGATIVES!) Car Parking - Due to permit restrictions, you can't park outside the Cottage, which is absolutely fine as you can at the Cricket Club (tiny walk), however, people who have a permit can, which means they park directly outside, limiting the front door access, which if you had a pushchair or buggy, would make things difficult Wifi - Again, not really a negative, but the best speed we had was 1.4mb, which if you were working (Which thankfully, I was not), could be problem. Beds - I'm 6'3, so a full bed frame meant I slept diagonal :D, which wasn't a problem for me, but for wife, it was!

Lucys Cottage is in a perfect location by the sandy beach, and within one minute of three pubs. Opposite is the Wayfarer which was probably our favourite and the most friendly, where the locals go. The cottage was cosy and Lucy was very responsive. No issue out of main season with parking and in main season Lucy has a car park voucher to use which provides safe parking a short walk away. We look forward to further visits and our little Cavalier cross had a great time on the beach. Two bedrooms each en-suite is really helpful, and a second loo upstairs off the lounge. Thank you for a super short break and for the welcome treats with fresh flowers around the cottage too. We look forward to our next visit.
