close to Skogafoss waterfall and a drive up the island to Diamond Beach. Although the place was nice and nice to have your own private bathroom. The bed is what got me. It was like a two-three inch thick camping pad placed on top of a box spring, whereas the inside bedrooms had real, actual mattresses.

Takk! Thanks a million Heiða for an amazing nights stay in the beautiful property, I very much appreciate the room upgrade! I had a wonderful stay and was so lucky to have the house to myself for the night! I will surely be back for a longer stay in the near future! I should get my whole family over and rent the house out for a week next year! The views of the Skogafoss region are breathtaking! It was a great accommodation after a long hike. The apartment was very clean. The kitchen was super equipped. The host was very nice and has clarified all the details in advance. I highly recommend the accommodation.

Beautiful Location, Host is really helpful. Perfect first or last stop if you are doing the ring road or the Fimmvorduhals trail.
