The cabin is set on a bluff over looking the mouth of Deep Creek and on the shores of Cook Inlet. Enjoy the serenity of the ocean; see the snow-covered peaks of Mt Iliamna and Mt Redoubt across the Inlet, and watch the colorful midnight sunsets that paint the sky in shades of gold and crimson. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty that exists here. Direct access to the beach below is not possible from the property itself. Rather, one can walk or drive down to the mouth of either Deep Creek or Ninilchik River systems.

Head downtown to the village of Ninilchik which is within easy walking distance of your room. The town has 3 restaurants, a community clinic and dentist, gymnasium and yoga studio, a drive-through coffee shop, a library, 2 gas stations, a K-12 school, several churches and 2 liquor stores. The general store, Three Bears, carries miscellaneous items and groceries on a smaller scale and has an Ace hardware attached. Currently, Ninilchik has a resident population of about 1000 people.
The cabin is also the perfect location from which to access any day-trip fishing charter that operates out of Ninilchik and who launches their boat out of Deep Creek. The village of Ninilchik is perfectly located about 50 miles south of Soldotna and 50 miles north of Homer. Being on the road system, it is easy to drive to and you'll have a free parking spot for your vehicle once you get here.
