If you're a large group looking for a comfy spot to work/live/chill from, this is bang on, 5/5. We used this for a team retreat of 11 people and it was perfect for us. Easy walk into town, spacious and affordable. The decor etc is exactly as you see in the pics, it's a genuine old fashioned house (the host's grandmother's, in fact, where they all used to holiday). For us, this gave it character and the space was undoubtedly good value for money. Notes for prospective guests: The twin room + 4 single beds are all in 1 loft in a room separated by a curtain, so it's more like 1 big room with 6/7 single beds. It wasn't a problem for us but just a heads up to others - it did swap our plans a little as we were going to give 2 girls the twin room to have some privacy, but it is not actually separate. The double bedrooms in the middle floor have heaters, but not A/C. There is A/C in the living room and in the loft upstairs. It wasn't needed for our trip (late september), but just FYI.

Everything was fine, but there were a few issues we didn’t like. First, they asked us for an additional 50€ in cash for a cleaning fee, even though we had already paid Airbnb for cleaning. Then, although we had booked the entire house for ourselves to have separate rooms, they initially said they would only provide rooms for 6 people and lock the rest. Eventually, they gave us all the rooms we had booked. There's also a sign in the apartment warning of a 70€ penalty for not cleaning up properly or disposing of garbage in the designated bin outside. It's puzzling why they acted this way, especially since we had already paid 1,800€ for a week and cleaning fees through Airbnb.

Everything was great, house owner is very helpful even though her english is not perfect she tried her best to give us some tips and recommendations about Ericeira. One day iron stopped working, we informed Isabela about the situation and she quickly delivered us brand new device. House itself has its years but is very clean, has air conditioning, 4 bathrooms and a stunning view on the ocean. It is very close to supermarkets: Continente, Lidl, Intermarche, also highway entrance is nearby so you can get to Lisbon in 35 minutes. Price is very fair for what you get. I will surely recommend this accommodation to my friends.

Our group of 16 people stayed at Isabel's place. Checkin was not easy at all. Isabel send her mother who couldn't speak a word in English so our communication was very bad. It is not her mothers fault but Isabels - she did not say a word about not knowing English. She was on a phone during checkin and hardly speak English as well. I really don't have a problem with people now knowing English but her attitude was not polite, not friendly at all. However, the place is very big and it was perfect for our group. Her house was very well equipped. Kitchen was extremely well equipped, parking was free in front of the house. We had a great time at her house, the only issue we had during our stay was communication during our checkin / checkout. Overall, we would recommend this place to groups.
