Paulene and her partner made us so welcome. Meeting us at the gate, a wonderful garden, house nestled in at the end. It was fun all sharing one room, our 2 kids (7 and 1) thought it was great all sleeping together. We'll definitely be back!

I booked this accommodation initially to spend a ten-day quarantine period after working abroad. It is pleasant and traditional, with a separate gate so you can come and go independently. From the front window, you can see chickens running around the garden belonging to Paulene and her family, and the back window looks onto a field with horses. This rural setting is what I particularly liked the most. It was a welcome change from the hotels I stay in when working away and the peace and quiet was really blissful, allowing me to get a lot of work done. The property is completely detached and at the end of the garden - so it was extremely nice not having other guests disturbing me as normally happens in hotels! I might well book to return the next time I need a peaceful environment for my work :)
