We had a wonderful, relaxing, fun filled week on the island! The cabin is amazing with more than enough room. Clean and comfortable. We loved that the lake is just big enough to have some water fun and not busy at all. The fishing was great. You can literally drop your line and catch a fish anytime of the day! Due to being so private and secluded, we felt like we had our own piece of heaven!

If you are looking for a private, peaceful, rustic, but homie and comfy getaway, this is your spot!! Tyler and Dacotah were very responsive to all of our questions. They gave great directions on finding the cabin. They were awesome hosts to work with! Renting the pontoon is a must! Whether you love to fish, or just take a cruise around the lake. It is super nice to have it ready for you, when you need to make a run to town. ( You are on an island after all. ) Also be ready to haul your items down a slight hill to the dock. If you have AWD/4x4 you'll be just fine to back down closer to load your things onto the pontoon for the short scoot over to the island. Beds and pillows were comfy, filtered water was stocked, washer and dryer were super handy, and the dinning room table is nice and big to have family game night too! The fishing was really good, even off the docs! Was a nice family get away spot!

The island and the cabin are clearly beloved and treasured by the family that hosts this Airbnb. This was truly a magical experience for my family and me and we loved the week that we spent on the island. The cabin, though older, is clean and well maintained. Everything you could need and more is available - excellent array of pots, utensils, condiments, bug spray, etc. As an example, our very picky 2 year old will only drink from straws - and although we managed to remember her sippy cup, we forgot to bring her reusable Silicon straws - but thankfully, the cabin already had straws - crisis averted! In addition to a well stocked cabin, the island is impeccable with phenomenal views and an impressive old growth forest. We saw bald eagles, turkey vultures, turtles, and a wide variety of fish. Communication with the hosts is easy and they are incredibly accessible and kind. Dacotah and Tyler did a wonderful job answering all of our questions. Heather and Don were great too and wonderful resources! It was a true pleasure to stay in their Airbnb. What a gem we discovered!

Wow! What an amazing experience! From the cabin, to the trails, to the beach to the wildlife this was pure perfection. We went to sleep watching gorgeous stars and woke up to the sound of loons. The house was equipped with everything we could’ve ever needed, even for those rainy days. We could not have asked for more and cannot wait for our next journey to the island
