This was such a disappointing trip all because of this host. After checking into the cabin with no issues, we left for dinner and came back and could not get back into the cabin. We waited for over an hour and a half without hearing back from the host before we started contacting air bnb. When they couldn’t get in touch with him we decided we would just drive all the way back home. The host finally texted at 1230am asking if we still needed to get in. He never once apologized or took responsibility. He only said his phone died and he didn’t get our messages. We will never be going back here again. If you take on the responsibility of being a host, the least you can do is be responsive for your guests. Do better William…

Lovely location. Definitely drive a hardy vehicle, one that sits fairly high off the ground as the roads are quite rough. William was responsive to our needs and questions. Would stay at this location again.

A beautiful stay for couples on a weekend getaway, for families or for groups of friends. Felt very secluded but not far at all from Helen.

Beautiful cabin about 10 min from Helen, GA. The space has everything that you need to feel at home - comfortable beds, full kitchen, a cozy hot tub, beautiful fire pit area, and privacy in the woods in a small cabin community. It was a plus to be able to bring the family dog and take her on local hikes with us. I'd highly suggest William's space for your next trip to the North Georgia Mountains! Local things we loved: coffee and bagels at Sweetwater Coffee Shop in Sautee, hikes at Raven's Cliff, Dukes Creek, and Tallulah Gorge, exploring downtown Helen, riding the Georgia Mountain Coaster, and peaceful mornings on the cabin's porch swing listening to the birds. If you need groceries, Betty's Grocery in Helen has a good selection. The cabin was perfect for 4 adults, but if you plan to bring more, you'll need to get creative with seating at meals in the cabin as the table seats 4. Be sure to bring kitchen staples like seasoning, oil, dishwasher soap, etc. and laundry soap :)
