Personalized Paradise and Adventure! My girlfriend and I stayed at the Peace Parallel Guest house on the island of Thinadhoo, in the Outer Atoll for 4 incredible days. There are no words that can truly reflect the experience we had during our stay at Peace Parallel Guest House, but here is an attempt: - Naturally beauty unlike any other place in the world - Hospitality that makes you feel like you are with family - Romantic settings everywhere you look Our hosts, the guest house owners Shafiu and Nifiu (brothers) were everything you could ask for and more. - Excellent communication before, during and after our journey. - They consulted with us and put together a personalized adventure plan for our short stay, and were very flexible throughout - We had three personal guides accompany us on all of our activities (Nifiu – who runs the show, Joseph – a jack of all trades, and Ibrahim – the fishing boat captain/master chef/professional diver) - We went on multiple fishing trips and caught lots of different species, we snorkeled in some of the most pristine waters on earth, caught fresh oysters and octopus, had many fresh seafood meals prepared for us from food caught each day, went camping on an uninhabited island, sampled many local delicacies, island hopped around the outer atoll and got to experience a glimpse of local life, and met some really interesting and sweet people along the way that made this trip unforgettable. Helpful tips: - Shafiu and Nifiu can help you book cheaper domestic flights (lower prices if purchased by locals) - Get in touch with them as early as possible to customize your trip based on your preferences…they have some amazing ideas and will continue to surprise you on the upside - The guest house itself is beautiful and far exceeded our expectations; there are multiple common areas/sitting rooms you can spend a few hours just relaxing in if you feel like having some downtime, and a kitchen area where you can dine if you want to - It’s the Maldives and the sun is strong – so bring sunscreen! These guys are professional, hospitable, and a real joy to spend time with – I wish I could rate this a 100 out of 10!
