What an experience it was. Starting from the beginning till the end I had an amazing experience with Azamat’s family. You can experience the real nomad life with them. You can eat with them, get milli from the animals and ride the horses. There is nothing touristic about the place it is real nomad life and it is perfect. Yurt is very nice and comfortable, there is light and fire in case you need. What is special about the place is the amazing scenery around. If you are looking for a real nomad experience go and live it with Azamat’s family 😊

Absolutely fantastic! We stayed with Azamats parents in the yurt camp. It was such a great experience. Azamat and his family are so hospitable. The yurt itself is very comfortable and the oven during the the night keeps u warm and cosy. The landscape and the locals are just amizing. We loved walking around observing the people in their daily life. Also we did a day trip by jeep to a stunning magical lake. Azamats father drove us there and we realy had a lot of fun :-) Thank u Azamat and family for such a wonderfull time in Kirgistan. We will never forget you. Keep in touch! See you soon!! Disclaimer: we stayed with Azamat's parents in October, and were located in their winter location (not in the mountains). Unfortunately, our experience was not at all as described, which, I assume, is about their summer yurt camp location. We stayed with Azamat's parents in a yurt setup in their driveway. Azamat himself was never there. Unfortunately, his parents do not speak English, so we had a difficult time communicating and were unable to really learn much about their lifestyle. In our experience, there was nothing to do or help with on the farm, and nothing interesting to see or do in the area around At-Bashi. It sort of felt like wasted opportunity and some unnecessary, uncomfortable mattress pad nights. If you speak Russian or Kyrgyz, or Azamat guarantees he will be with you during your stay here, and you book during the summer (May-August), then I suppose the experience will be great.

La ferme (pas la yourte en hiver) est perdue dans milieu de nulle part. Il faut avoir envie d'isolement et de solitude pour apprécier ce logement. Les parents d'azamat sont des personnes sympas et accueillantes. La maman cuisine très bien. Azamat maîtrise aussi bien l'anglais que l'espagnol ce qui est rare et donc précieux au Kirghizistan. Enfin attention : pas de douche ni de point d'eau isolé pour l'hygiène intime, ce qui pour une femme est vite problématique...

After reading Azamat’s reviews I knew he was the right person to guide my trip while in Kyrgyzstan. Very few people here speak English so it was nice to have a friend I could communicate with, who could point me in the right directions for my trip. I stayed with his parents in At Bashi, it’s november so unfortunately I couldn’t stay in their yurt but I still had a great time at their farm house and seeing the animal bazaar. I was able to collect some beautiful shirdok rugs and the hospitality was truly special! Azamat also linked me up with a 3rd generation eagle man and I went on a 7 hour hunting excursion on horse back and with an eagle. I will never forget my trip to Kyrgyzstan, even though I came in the off season, I still had an amazing time 🙌🏽🙌🏽
