David's home is beautiful, warm, and spacious. The ambiance is soothing and relaxing, you can tell that he put his heart into creating this wonderful space. The amenities are awesome, I really enjoyed the gym and sauna rooms. The location is very convenient as well, the six train is less than a 10 minute walk away. I was commuting to midtown manhattan daily, and it took me less then 30 minutes most days. If you take the express 6 at 125th, you can get there in 15-20 minutes. There is also a quaint coffee shop down the block. Although the building is located off the highway, I found the noise to be very minimal- I am a light sleeper and was not disturbed at all. I highly recommend staying here, you will love it!

I had the chance to stay two months at David's flat. The flat is very confortable, perfectly equipped with all you might need for a long term stay, huge, full of light and nicely decorated. David is a very kind host, helpful, who agreed to check me in late in the evening, and very responsive whenever I had a problem. The place is very close to Manhattan (about 20 minutes to midtown, though it can be longer on the weekends when there are no express trains, the time can double), people in the building are friendly. Just keep in mind that there are not a lot of restaurants and cafes in the area and that you might want to go to Manhattan to eat out or have a drink, with the exception of the nice restaurant Charlies in the building where the food is good and the atmosphere nice. A great cafe also opened at the corner, with bagels and good coffee. I enjoyed using the gym in the building who is small but has a lot of material to use. If you are a light sleeper and sensitive to noise, you might want to have ear plugs, because the road outside can be quite noisy in the early morning. I recommend the place, thanks David!

Davids place is awesome. I would live here if I could. The description is accurate - the location is pretty good for the bronx, decent food in the area, easy commutes into the city - secure building. I'd recommend staying here!

David's loft is very nicely decorated, well equipped with all necessities, very clean, close to a Metro station, a nice wine store on the corner, great restaurant right in the building and an amazing roof top terasse. Communication was fast and accurate, everything was right on spot. This location is one of the best ways to be very close to Manhattan without paying the high price of renting on the island. Overall, 5/5, this beats any 300$/night 4 stars hotel.
