A wonderful host who is happy to go out of her way to make you feel welcome and help out whenever she can. The farm is the ultimate peaceful retreat, with only the occasional cow or lamb punctuating the serenity. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, the breakfasts are amazing. Can't find anything negative to say about anything.

What a lovely stay!! I had a fabulous stay for 2 nights which was home away from home. Out in the countryside surrounded by fields, with new born lambs to wake up to. The peace and quiet and NO street lighting was fantastic as this is what i’m used to. The room was lovely, a huge bed that got lost in, the facilities were great, lovely and clean. Homemade chic chip cookies in the room with every hot drink that you could imagine available. Some lovely touches in the bathroom which was spotless, tiny handmade bars of soap which smelt gorgeous, as well as shower he and hand wash. There was some beautiful old features in the farmhouse which really gave you the feel of the age of the property. Breakfast was fabulous, fresh strawberries with yoghurt and a choice of cereals and then a good hearty cooked breakfast. I only sampled the home grown poached eggs which were delicious with fresh local bread, and toast with homemade raspberry jam or local honey. But in the menu was sausage and bacon from their own pigs! The village was a 30 min walk to all the amenities, pubs, pub grub, Indian restaurants, and supermarkets, lovely little cafes selling delicious cakes. The sat nav found the village easily and the extra directions from Catherine took me straight to the door. I would whole heartedly recommend a stay.

Catherine was an amazing host, and an outstanding baker & cook! I have a gluten & dairy free diet which she accommodated so amazingly! The cake and the breakfast really were superb. My 17 month old daughter was in her element with the dog, and feeding the 2 week old lamb with Catherine. Overall we were really pleased and would definitely recommend staying here.
