This is a fantastic location, with amazing hosts who have assisted us in everything we needed to have a small celebration at a Villa. Very accessible by car, boat or train, with fantastic serene views and ducks near the pool, an absolute steal for the price, memorable and simply splendid. this is truly 10/10 and it's the best Airbnb property I have ever been to. if you are reading this - don't think twice, just book it!

We had the privilege of staying in this wonderful 110 year old villa, celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. There were 13 of us. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for us all to have our own space. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms and the kitchen have been modernized and were well equipped. The tower was delightful for early morning coffee and pastries or a quiet read. The grandchildren loved the pool, the yard, the foosball and ping pong table. The villa is just a few minutes walk from the train station, and a five minute walk to the bakery and gelato shop. We hired Luigi to take our family portrait. He did a great job. Chef Maria gave us a cooking lesson and prepared a delicious special anniversary dinner. We met the owner, Andrea, at check-in where he took the time to go over details. During the week we had several questions and he was very quick to respond. Stefania, the property manager, was great in making arrangements. We made wonderful memories!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful and very special villa. It was the perfect venue for my birthday celebration with three generations of my family ranging in ages from 2 to 80. The house was spacious, elegant and very well laid out with plenty of room for all 14 of us. Due to the time of year we couldn’t make much use of the gardens but we did appreciate their beauty as the views from inside and from the terraces and the belvedere at the top were stunning. The location also suited us very well as the train station , lake, shops and restaurants were only a few minutes walk away. We were easily able to visit Varenna by train and Bellagio by boat and from there go on further excursions around the lake. A big thanks must go to Stefania, the house manager who was incredibly responsive to all our needs. And last but not least we had three delicious meals (including a cooking lesson) from Chef Maria who saw to it that we were well fed with good homemade Italian cuisine.

Andrea's Villa was an absolute dream. We had our wedding here in October and it was the perfect scenery for our moody, romantic fall event. The rooms were well-appointed with beautiful views of the mountains, landscape and even Lake Como from the amazing rooftop. It was a bit too chilly to use the pool but it was beautiful and well-maintained. There is one bedroom (two if you use the pull out sofa in the other room) located on the ground floor, otherwise all bedrooms are located on the second and third floor. There isn't an elevator so that can mean a good amount of steps for guests that might find that challenging. It's helpful to have a car to get groceries, otherwise you will be walking on the side of the highway to reach places. Our host was extremely responsive and helpful with suggestions for taxis and where to go. Wonderful stay, our guests were in awe, we loved every moment of staying in Villa Confalonieri!
