The cottage was exactly what we need and it was amazing to wake up every morning to the view. My only suggestion would be to provide coffee filters for the Mr Coffee machine on the counter. I only say provide bc we tried to buy our own and we were sent to three markets and just as many hardware stores always being told no we don’t have them but this next store does. We finally gave up and used paper towels. I assume the easiest way is to order a bulk of them online. But everything was wonderful

Bedrock !! What a view !!! The pictures on Airbnb don’t really do it justice- but in my opinion- That’s Ireland 🇮🇪 Getting in was easy - and we never needed to bother Patrick for anything - so he was great !! Strongly recommended 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻

Patrick's house is set in the most stunning location. The views from the house are truly amazing. Even on the rainy days. It is remote, very peaceful and quiet. Yet, it is only 10 minutes drive from Kenmare, charming little town, full of bars, restaurants and shops. The house itself is very spacious with comfortable beds. Everything is clean and clutter free. Patrick has been a responsive and communicative host. I definitely recommend!

The house was spotless and well equipped. The views are stunningly beautiful. We had the best weather ever while there so we didn't need the underfloor heating, which was available and worked very well the night we arrived. Great to have endless hot water and energy costs included in the price. Driving up the house is tricky in low cars like mine as it's a country lane with grass in the middle and quite deep ruts either side for tires. I had to drive on one side which meant my car was constantly scraping against the foliage on the side of the drive. It didn't do any damage. It's ten minutes into Kenmare, a 3 minute drive to a little beach which was great for short walks, and 5 minutes to the pier for swimming. Great location for exploring the Ring of Kerry. So many hidden walks and rivers, coves and harbours. Lovely meeting baby deers on the road and the air is so quiet and clean. This is a very special part of the world
