Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez John qui était très réactif et présent à notre arrivée. La maison est au calme, la vue est belle, la literie est confortable. Les biches et les lièvres viennent jusqu'à la maison. petits bémols : nous avons eu un peu froid le 1er jour mais une fois la maison en chauffe tout allait bien et la cuisine n'est pas très pratique (par contre il y a tout ce qu'il faut en vaisselle). L'emplacement permet de visiter le parc national de kilarney que nous avons adoré et de rejoindre également facilement la côte.

Un super séjour dans ce joli cottage ! Nous y étions avec nos 2 enfants, il y a tout le nécessaire pour faire dormir des petits, sur demande auprès de John.

John's countryside cottage is located about 45 mins from Killarney and 20 minutes to Kenmare. The accommodations were good and matched the listing, the house was also very clean. We stayed there when it was a bit cold in April, even had a storm too at one point, and noticed the way the radiators, boiler and fireplace are all plumbed together in a way to can cause weird problems. Wouldn't even be an issue at all though when the weather is better. The countryside at John's place is absolutely beautiful and really an excellent sight every morning. Just be mindful it's a country road drive to surrounding areas.

We stayed here with only 4 adults but the place can accommodate several four more people easily. We love this property and it's historic charm. The Ring of Kerry is officially along the coastline but we did several drives and walks on the interior of the peninsula and the dramatic and mountainous scenery is even better. We could easily go to the Beara Peninsula and Killarney National Park from here as well. We had some nice meals in Kenmare and in Port Magee.

Very peaceful house, nicely located to explore the ring of Kerry and Killarney, lovely views out the front. it was nice to have downstairs and upstairs bedrooms and 2 toilets. Everything we needed was there (except cot and high chair but that was our fault for not noticing on the listing, and we managed without). John was very friendly and met us to do a walk through of the amenities.
