This place was amazing! Carlos was very responsive throughout our entire stay. Jackie and Jannie prepared delicious meals/drinks. Basically whatever we wanted. They were all so welcoming and we never felt anything but right at home! The open air house stays cool, even on the hottest of days (our max was around 90). We traveled with our one year old and Carlos was nice enough to provide a crib with sheets and a highchair! The view is great and the walk is hilly but the 2 min car ride down to the beach is easy. The beach is chill and the waves are calm — perfect for families! There is plenty to do and the “downtown” isn’t far at all, maybe 10mins tops depending on where you’re headed. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Casa Phil was marvelous. From the moment we arrived, we were pampered to our every need. Carlos was always very responsive and very proactive. The pictures don’t do justice to this beautiful place.We travelled with a small toddler and the house felt always safe. We recommend that you use the dinner services from Yaky and Yancy who cooked delicious meals for us during our stay. They can do cocktails too if you are in the mood. We will certainly come back to Casa Phil and we are recommending it to friends and family visiting Las Terrenas.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Phil! Everything was so laid back and smooth from the beginning. Carlos helped set up our transportation from SDQ airport when we arrived. He reached out before we got there to make sure we had all the information we needed about the house and our stay along with suggestions. The girls were so wonderful and sweet as well! They cooked us amazing food for breakfast and dinner, made delicious cocktails, got all of our groceries, and always made sure we were having a good time and had what we needed. The house was so clean and had everything! The rooms stayed plenty cold at night with the air conditioners in each room which was a huge plus! The beach is walking distance and was so beautiful! It’s quiet and remote. There are so many cute places to stop along the way for food and drinks too! Highly recommend Casa Phil! We already miss it and can’t wait to be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casa Phil. The home is beautiful, neighbourhood is peaceful and the view is amazing. Carlos is very responsive and made our stay very comfortable by arranging for grocery delivery & dinner on arrival. Jackie and Yandi made us delicious meals and packed us a picnic on a beach day. Their piña coladas are delicious! Carlos recommended great restaurants (El Lugar & El Mosquito Bar at Playa Bonita). We’d love to go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Phil. We were a group of six traveling with two toddlers and the place was perfect for our needs. The view is spectacular and open-air concept of the house makes you feel connected to the surroundings indoors. It was only a short walk down a hill to the lovely beach. The beach has many walkable beach bars/restaurants. The staff at the house were friendly and welcoming and did everything they could to make our stay easy. We had breakfast and lunch cooked daily, ready for us at the time of our request, looking out over the beautiful view. Highly recommend renting an atv/4x4 to be able to travel to other local beaches and the downtown area.
