This is a warm, quiet and comfortable room, 10 mins walk from singil subway station. The landlord is soooo nice and had helped me a lot. I want to live it again when i come to Seoul next time.

Sa Nam is the perfect host :) very kind and will help anytime. Responded very fast to messages. She even offered to send away my postcard for me as I had very little time on departure day. Thank you so much! The area is fine, there are convenient stores around and lots of places to eat. Two subway stations are nearby, but still you have to walk a bit. Bus stops are basically just in front. It’s not as touristic as other places. The journey to the city will take about 30/45 min but you’ll cross the Han river which will give you lovely views. I loved exploring the city that way.

Just spent 3 nights at Lodge82 and it was a good stay. The apartment is actually the top floor of the family home. It has a private entrance so you can come and go as you please, a nice living room plus the bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom only has a single bed but we slept on the heated floor Korean Onsol style which was fine and nice and warm. The shower is really powerful, there was fast wifi and the tv had plenty of channels. The apartment is a little hard to find but Sa Nam does send detailed instructions. The location is good, a quiet street but only minutes away from a main road with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. The metro station is around 10 minute walk and there are parks just a little further. We walked to the excellent Cherry Blossom festival from the house. Sa Nam speaks excellent English and we met with her a few times as she checked in to make sure everything is OK. But it was her Mum who mainly looked after us. Her English isn't so strong but we got on fine. Breakfast was toast and jam and her Mum also brought us a pot of tea when we came in from the cold in the afternoon. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and it was very good value.
