Sandstone Cottage is a wonderful retreat in a spectacular and unique location. Getting there has it's challenges, but even my 87 year old mother felt the ferry (she doesn't get on well with boats generally, but the bay waters were very calm) beach walk and stairs were well worth the effort. It's incredibly quiet and peaceful, no cars and very few people -- we had the beach mostly to ourselves. The cottage and treehouse are marvelously well-decorated and every thing is in place for a great time in a special place.

A perfect stay in a beautiful house and location. Very well equipped with everything you need and excellent communications from the hosts. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay and the house surpassed our expectations (which were high already!). The view and location were just amazing. The kitchen is really well equipped and we loved that it was well stocked with coffee and spices etc. Our kids (7 and 10 years) loved the room with bunks and discovering the games and hidden treasures. It’s a fairly easy walk along the beach from the ferry and up the stairs to the house. We are looking at when we can stay again! Thanks Richard and Claudia.
