The home is in an older, modest neighborhood 3 miles from downtown Boise. The interior is completely remodeled, finely decorated, and serene, yet comfy and casual. This is not a home to 'hook-up', party, or blast music/TV/videos. I work from home and lead a pretty low-key life. It is important that we have our space and feel respected. I sometimes watch TV or work in the living room, but wear headphones if I think it might be too loud. The guest room at the front of the home has a queen size bed and features a slightly vaulted ceiling that gives it a cozy, bungalow feel. Many have told me that they love the soft and cozy bedding. The room does not have a TV so you might want to bring a streaming device (the living room/TV are not included). Steps from the guest room, you will enjoy a fully remodeled, private bathroom, with a deeper than average tub, as well as a Toto tornado flush toilet. I offer coffee, tea, and filtered water. See 'Guest Access' for Kitchen use/info. The bathroom is complete with towels, soap, shampoo, and hair dyer. The home is situated on a corner lot in a modest, established neighborhood of smaller homes - some updated, some that could use a little TLC. This is not a meticulously landscaped suburb ruled by HOAs. However, the location for those passing through or wanting to be close to everything is pretty much perfect. I fully respect your privacy and the security of your belongings and would only enter the guest room in an emergency or out of necessity. The bedroom door has a privacy lock (not keyed). Please be sure to read the rules which are more like conditions that allow me to open my home to guests, knowing they enjoy a similar environment and will be mindful. You might think I would not have to put most in writing but many are based on experiences with past guests :) Wi-Fi is included but not guaranteed.
