Consistent with other reviews, Antonio’s house was superb. The location and position are stunning, particularly the terrace with its magnificent view and very comfortable outdoor furniture. Antonio was an excellent host, proactive, very responsive and helpful. Disappointingly, some standards were well below what could reasonably be expected. This included the appalling state of bed mattresses (very old, extremely uncomfortable, dirty and stained, including what seemed to be blood stains) and very poor wifi in both bedrooms. In addition, access to the house is incorrectly described and is a minimum of 100 metres up an increasingly steep path.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans cette magnifique villa avec un vrai caractère et une vue fantastique sur la mer et les îles. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil chaleureux accompagné d'une assiette de fruit et d'une bouteille de Prosecco. Antonio a été très reactif à nos demandes (problème d'initialisation de clim résolu rapidement). Attention la troisième chambre n'est incluse dans le prix que à partir de 5 personnes. L'accès en pente ne convient pas aux personnes à mobilité réduite.

The beautiful house, worth to be called a Captain‘s house (casa di un capitano del porto) has been reviewed in depth by others and everything you can read is true - hence we can keep our review short. Antonio and family are not only great hosts, they treat you as friends and the location is all you need, it is all you want from a perfect Sicilian vacation on an Aeolian island. Highly recommended!

Antonio ist ein herausragender Gastgeber, er hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und war jederzeit für uns da. Seine Empfehlungen für die Umgebung waren super. Die Villa ist ein Traum. Alles war sehr sauber und mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das ist noch ein ursprüngliches Airbnb, wo der Gastgeber sein zu Hause für seine Gäste bereitstellt. Und diesen Flair spürt man dann auch. Wir haben uns als sehr willkommene Gäste gefühlt, wie Freunde, denen es an nichts mangelte. Zum Kochen stand alles parat, Olivenöle, Gewürze, Nudeln, Kaffee, Zitronen und Rosmarin aus dem Garten. Er hatte Prosecco, Bier, Wasser für uns und Knabbereien und Kekse. Für den Strand gab es Handtücher, Schnorchel, Sonnenschirme. Was kann man mehr wollen? Der Garten und die Terrassen sind ein Traum. Der Blick von der riesen Terrasse ist wunderschön: der kleine Ort, das Meer und Stromboli, der vor sich hinqualmt. Alles ist wie beschrieben, wenn nicht sogar noch besser. Wir waren zu fünft dort: zwei Erwachsene und drei Jugendliche und es war perfekt. Wir bedanken uns herzlich bei Antonio, dass er uns seine wundervolle, authentische Villa ausgeliehen hat und sich so sehr um unser Wohl gesorgt hat.
