Valerie’s stylish and well located apartment was the icing on the cake of our wonderful week in Amsterdam. Valerie was extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions and specifics about the apartment. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to return soon.

We loved staying at Valerie’s apartment. Such a stunning place in a incredible building with a fabulous history - the apartment really is gorgeous, with a huge roof terrace overlooking the canal. Valerie was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and local places for us, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Most main sights are within a 1/2hr walking distance or via trams which are very close by. Was nice to be away from the main touristy part of town in an area that’s right next door to the botanical gardens. Cooking and eating at the apartment was a pleasure as we had everything we needed to prepare meals in the well equipped kitchen and sitting at the enormous dining table. Would recommend to anyone travelling with children as bedrooms are more suited to younger children than adults (two of the 4 bedrooms are children’s rooms). The main bedroom is stunning with the most incredible ensuite with huge shower, freestanding bath, the last bedroom is a smaller single.

What a beautiful space in an amazing location?‽! Very walkable to downtown but transit was also available. Peaceful neighborhood next to so many parks and the zoo. Lots of local food options. The patio/terraced garden is such a great location to get outside and enjoy the fresh air and relax. The inside space is clean and well maintained, as well as beautifully decorated. Valerie is such a helpful and communicative host.

I cannot say enough about how absolutely wonderful it was to stay in Valerie’s flat in Amsterdam! Valerie herself is absolutely lovely and helpful and sweet and everything you would want in a host. And the flat is stunning, so comfortable, and perfectly located to enjoy Amsterdam! We had the most wonderful time there! Thank you so much, Valerie!
