Absolutely loved our stay here. Thank you very much Philip and Naomi you were the perfect hosts! The places is ideal a true gem. The most peaceful place to stay with stunning views, all home comforts and very very comfy. Felt instantly at home! Really appreciated the time at this air B&B. Really relaxed and enjoyed the local area and Bath!

After comparing several housing options in Bath, we chose this place, and the reality has proven our choice to be right. The village is very peaceful and tidy, with many old cottages, and the people are very friendly. The community shop and the centuries-old inn provide all the daily necessities. Stepping out, you can explore the beautiful scenery of FreshFord's surrounding villages and the Avon River along the footpaths. There is a railway station here with a history of over a hundred years, making it very convenient to travel to Bath. Philip is always prompt in responding to our inquiries and is willing to help. We had a wonderful weekend here, and the house and its furnishings are as beautiful and cozy as in the pictures. Seeing my daughter's message in that lovely guestbook saying, 'I'm recharged for studying,' I am truly delighted.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Abbotsleigh Cottage. It's a beautiful cottage in a picturesque village with lots of little thoughtful touches and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was a cold November weekend and the cottage felt really warm and cosy. Philip provided a highchair, travel cot and changing mat for my daughter. He was a friendly and welcoming host. I highly recommend a stay here and hope to return in spring or summer so we can enjoy the outdoor space more next time.

Philip's place is an outstanding choice. The interiors are beautiful and cozy. The outside is a classic English countryside experience of views and walks with storybook charm. It's an excellent base from where to explore Bath and other parts of Somerset as the train station is an easy walk away. I highly recommend this stay. We wished we could have stayed longer and hope to return. Thank you so much.

A well-equipped, warm base from which to explore a beautiful area. Philip and Naomi were welcoming and attentive. The kids loved the bunk beds and the DVD collection!
