Everything was perfect! We love Joao’s place and Ericeira. The check in process was great, Joao even had sweets and wine for us! The beach close to his place is great for surfing and my boys had a blast! We hope to come back again to his place!

Very spacious apartment with everything you need and a super nice view! We stayed here with our baby and toddler and it was perfect! 1 step away of a play garden and a bakery/shop. 15 min walk to the beach! Good communication with Joao!

I found this apartment for a vacation for my mother and me. We were very happy with the apartment for our 7 day stay. Mom (who is 84) struggled with the stairs a bit (I thought the place would only be one flight up and it is two.) Once Mom was in the apartment, she spent a lot of time looking out at the ocean and forgot about the walk up the stairs and was very happy that I picked João's place. João was so kind when there was a mix-up with our rental car and we arrived quite a bit later than we planned. I appreciated João waiting for us, giving us a great tour of the place and the sweet treats/wine that he left us to enjoy. I enjoyed having the room to spread out and be able to eat, cook, relax and plan our outings for the next day. I definitely would love to stay at João's place again if I'm lucky enough to visit Portugal again and I will be recommending his place to any friends that want to visit the area! I did have some issues with the water not being warm in one of the bathrooms and struggled getting the door to the washer open but both of these things corrected themselves. I never had to contact João once we arrived but I knew I could call him if I needed anything and I knew he would respond quickly. João was a great communicator and shows his joy in owning this beautiful place!
